City FM Ltd was established in 2009 and today provides multi-site FM services throughout the UK to retailers, wholesalers, care homes and petrol forecourt operators.

Our model is built around self-delivery and City FM’s specially trained technicians cover all aspects of refrigeration, electrical and building fabric maintenance. Unique to our model is our ability to multi skill our technicians by training them in other disciplines such as heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), fire safety and food equipment maintenance. This reduces the need for additional contractors, the number of site visits and ultimately saves our clients’ money.

Asset management
Ensuring your business gets the maximum life out of any given asset, whilst maintaining it at the lowest cost, is a critical part of any maintenance providers role.

Our technicians can tag any assets on your site with details then entered into our system. We will then log each and every call and fault against specific asset numbers giving our customers complete visibility of how each asset is performing, the cost of maintenance and how best to deploy capital expenditure in any given year.

As the asset history builds, we can analyse common faults and recurring issues, working with you to review design specifications and develop PPM schedules to reduce fault frequency, identify poor performing sites and contractors and using asset level information to drive continual improvement.

Management information systems
Our in-house, integrated system means that City’s IT team can develop reports as required by our clients, in a prompt manner.

Our system effectively acts as a database of your sites, your assets, your job history, your planned schedules, your agreed SLAs and your spend, which means your reports can be generated to show what you want them to show.

Typically the type of reports provided would relate to SLA performance, contractor performance, fault types, site issues, outstanding jobs, legal compliance status, spend v budget, asset performance, quote status and so on, with reports being provided on a routine basis or by exception.

Reports can be provided to show performance based on your site structure, your geographic regional management structure or you site format types, enabling you to demonstrate how effective our service has been in supporting the various aspects of your business.
