Since 1997, EITA-Schneider (Mfg) Sdn Bhd (100% locally owned subsidiary of EITA Resources Bhd) is specialize in the area of design, manufacture and service of a range for vertical transportation systems, such as Elevators (Motor Room & Motor Room-less), Escalators, Travelators, Cargo Lifts, Car Lifts, Home Lifts, Observation lifts, and Dumbwaiter.

We manufacture our own Elevator Systems under the registered brand name as “EITA-Schneider” in Malaysia which the brand has well versed distributed in the Malaysia domestic market by EITA Elevator (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, and also the international market with more than 11 countries across Asean, South Asia, Middle East, and the rest of the world.

It is important to note that other EITA’s subsidiaries specializes in E & E equipment and products, and they play a synergistic role in providing E & E components to Eita-Schneider, thus, lending weight to our own internal technical know-how, sourcing and support capabilities are available – ballasts, cable management system, busduct system and fire rated cables with brand representative of Betaflam, Fuji Electric, Larsen, Toubro, GE, Furukawa, Kyoritsu, Sanyo, and etc.

Within a relatively short period of time, EITA-Schneider has grown significantly and now has about 10% market share of the elevator business in Malaysia. Despite the competitive market, the market growth achieved is a solid testament to our product quality, innovativeness and growing market acceptance.

We are proud to claim that EITA is the first home-grown elevator company in Malaysia to be listed on the Mainboard of Bursa Kuala Lumpur (EITA: Stock Code 5208) last year on 9 April 2012.

EITA TECHNICAL COMPETENCY

The nature of EITA’s businesses in the areas of E & E and Elevator directly dictates the strong engineering and technical background of our technical personnel. Also, our synergistic collaborations amongst these subsidiaries as mentioned earlier.

Currently, EITA-Schneider together with the lift domestic marketing subsidiary (EITA Elevator), and EITA R & D has a total staff strength of 186 (bumiputera employee 58%, non-bumiputera employee 42%).

Over 75% of these staff has engineering and technical qualification and/or experience. They consist of Sales Engineers, R & D Engineers, Project Managers, Testers, Service/Maintenance Technicians, Safety & Health Officers, QC Executives, Lift Competent Persons and many more.

We have a Training Policy in placed to ensure our technical personnel are put through a regime of appropriate training courses and On-The-Job training covering Departmental SOPs, Safety & Health compliances and technical competency.
