About Us

Founded in 1995, Kerk & Partners is passionate about law.

From our office in Kuala Lumpur, we work for clients throughout Malaysia and in many of the main centers overseas.

Our work for clients covers an established portfolio of property and business investment cases and includes specialist fields of the law such as immigration, environmental and hazardous waste, trademark and brand names, entertainment and media, and biotechnology and biodiversity.

We build on a strong foundation of one on one personalized legal consultancy that has set us apart from other law practices. Our clients and the work we do for them continue to define who we are. We devote time to knowing as much about our client's business as the clients know themselves.

We believe the most enduring client relationships are when we are seen as a business partner and not just a provider of legal services.

We also seek to be different in the way we express ourselves. We abhor big words, long sentences, and fat documents. We prefer plain and simple language when we talk and write. We are humble, direct, and never afraid to give our views and defend what we believe. To us, there can be no professionalism without courage and integrity.
